RITES LIMITED (A Govt. of India Enterprise) Recruitment Notification

RITES Ltd., a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, Govt. of India, is a premier multi-disciplinary consultancy organization in the fields of transport, infrastructure, and related technologies. RITES Ltd. invites applications for recruitment of IT professionals on a contract basis through online and offline interviews.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for the post is 40 years as of the last date of online application, i.e., 30.05.2025.

Educational Qualification and Experience

Age Limit Details

General/EWS candidates must have a first-class degree or at least 60% marks in their minimum qualification for consideration against unreserved posts. Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD) should have at least 50% marks in their minimum qualification for consideration against reserved posts.

Relaxations & Concessions

• Reservation/ relaxation/ concessions to EWS/ SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PWD/ Ex-SM/ J&K Domicile would be provided against reserved posts (where applicable) as per extant Govt. orders.
• Relaxation in upper age limit to OBC (NCL)/ SC/ ST candidates shall be provided against reserved posts as per extant Govt. orders.
• PWD candidates suffering from not less than 40% of the relevant disability shall only be eligible for the benefit of PWD.
• For PWD candidates, relaxation of 10 years in the upper age limit is provided. They must meet the physical requirements and functional classifications as per the post requirements.

Selection Process

Candidates who successfully submit their online application form will be provisionally allowed to appear for the document scrutiny and verification process, where eligibility criteria will be checked. Thereafter, shortlisted candidates will be allowed to appear for the Interview. The selection process may be conducted online.

Weightage Distribution

• Interview: 100% (Technical & Professional proficiency - 65%; Personality, Communication & Competency - 35%)
• A minimum of 60% marks for UR/EWS candidates (50% for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PWD candidates against reserved posts) in the interview is required to be considered for placement on the panel.

How to Apply

Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria are required to apply online through the registration format available in the Career Section of the RITES website (www.rites.com).

Steps to Apply

1. Candidates need to submit the online application.
2. Once submitted, the system will generate a Registration Number which should be noted down and quoted in all future communications.
3. After filling up the required details, submit the application.
4. Keep a copy of the Application Form submitted.
5. Print and sign the Application Form, and retain it for submission during document verification.

• 1 recent passport size color photograph
• High School certificate for proof of Date of Birth
• Certificates of Academic & Professional qualifications and statements of marks for all qualifications
• EWS/SC/ST/OBC Certificate (if applicable)
• Proof of Identity & Address (Passport, Voter ID, Driving license, Aadhaar Card, etc.)
• PAN Card
• Proof of different periods of experience (if applicable)
• PWD Certificate (if applicable)

Important Information

• Documents should be self-attested and submitted in chronological order.
• Candidates must ensure all documents are authentic and valid.
• Hard copies of documents should not be sent via post/courier.

Interview Mode: Candidates can appear for the interview either in Online or Offline mode. The interview details and VC link will be shared separately.
