Post Details

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent OR Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent recognized by AICTE/UGC.
• Experience:
  • For Degree Holders – Minimum 2 years in execution of railway/road infrastructure projects including at least 1 year in Site Survey works.
  • For Diploma Holders – Minimum 3 years in execution of railway/road infrastructure projects including at least 1 year in Site Survey works.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 55 years (as on 03.11.2025)
• Retirement Age: 60 years
• Relaxations: As per Government norms for OBC (NCL), SC, ST, EWS, PWD, Ex-Servicemen, and J&K domicile. PWD candidates with ≥40% disability get 10 years relaxation.

Application Process

1. Apply online through the Career section on RITES official website.
2. On submission, a unique Registration Number will be generated; quote it for all future communication.
3. Keep a printed, signed copy of the application form and bring it with self-attested photocopies of required documents on interview day.
4. No need to send hard copies via post or courier.
5. Documents required include resume, recent photo, DOB proof, educational certificates, category certificate, ID proof, PAN, experience proofs, and PWD certificate (if applicable).
6. All claims must be supported by valid certificates; incomplete or unsupported claims will lead to rejection.

Selection Process

• Mode: Walk-in Interview
• Weightage: Technical & Professional Proficiency – 65%; Personality, Communication & Competency – 35%
• Qualifying Marks: UR/EWS – 60%; SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD – 50%
• Candidates must be medically fit as per RITES standards.
• Interviews can be attended in English or Hindi.

Reservation & Relaxation

Reservations and relaxations are provided to EWS, SC, ST, OBC (NCL), PWD, Ex-Servicemen, and J&K domiciles as per Government rules. Persons with Locomotor Disability (OA, OL, Leprosy Cured, Acid Attack Victims) or Hearing Impairment (HI) may apply for suitable posts. PWD candidates meeting identified physical requirements will be considered on general merit.
