Remuneration / Salary Details
- ₹1,000/- per hour (fixed throughout the contract period)
- ₹1,000/- per month as conveyance expenses
- ₹1,000/- per month as reimbursement of mobile charges
- Compensation @ ₹1,000/- per hour if required to attend on public holidays
- No pension, provident fund, gratuity, leave, or other perquisites are admissible
Employment Type
Contract Basis for a period of three (03) years. No renewal after completion of the contract period.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must hold an MBBS degree in the allopathic system of medicine from a University recognized by the Medical Council of India.
- Applicants with postgraduate degree in General Medicine may also apply.
- Minimum two (02) years of experience practicing allopathic medicine as a Registered Medical Practitioner in any hospital or clinic.
- Applicant should have his/her own dispensary or place of residence within 30 kms of the Bank’s dispensary at Chandigarh.

Reservation Details
Total Vacancies: 01 (One)
- Reserved for Other Backward Class (OBC) category.
- Candidates seeking OBC reservation must produce a valid certificate issued on or after April 01, 2025.
- Certificate must clearly state “Non-Creamy Layer” status and be based on income for FY 2022-23, 2023-24, and 2024-25.
- Certificate must exactly match caste/community name as per Government of India Central List.
- OBC candidates falling under “Creamy Layer” are not entitled to OBC reservation benefits.

Selection Process
- Shortlisting of candidates based on eligibility criteria.
- Interview and document verification.
- Medical examination as per prescribed norms (cost borne by applicant).
- Final engagement subject to medical fitness and acceptance of Terms and Conditions of Contract (Annex-I) and Code of Conduct (Annex-II).
- Selected candidate must sign an agreement with the Bank before engagement.
Other Terms and Conditions
- Duty hours: Monday to Friday, 09:45 AM to 01:15 PM (subject to change by RBI).
- Maximum total duty hours can be increased up to 30 hours per week as required by the Bank.
- Engagement is purely on contract basis, no claim for permanent employment or regular service benefits.
- Termination of contract possible with three months’ notice by either side or three months’ remuneration in lieu thereof.
- Any disputes arising will be subject to jurisdiction of Chandigarh Courts.
- Detailed duties and responsibilities are listed in Annex-I (Treatment, Injections, Minor Surgeries, Home Visits, Certifications, Prescriptions, Emergency Care, etc.).
- Code of Conduct must be strictly observed as detailed in Annex-II (secrecy, honesty, political neutrality, non-participation in strikes, behavior standards, prohibition of misconduct, etc.).
