Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum MBBS degree in the allopathic system of medicine recognized by the Medical Council of India.
- Postgraduate degree in General Medicine from any University recognized by the Medical Council of India may also apply.
- At least 2 years of experience practicing allopathic medicine as a Registered Medical Practitioner in any hospital or clinic.
- Applicant should have his/her own dispensary or place of residence within 30 km of the Bank’s dispensary.

Remuneration and Benefits
- ₹1,000 per hour (fixed for entire 3-year contract period).
- ₹1,000 per month for conveyance expenses.
- ₹1,000 per month as reimbursement for mobile charges.
- ₹1,000 per hour for working on public holidays if required.
- Contract period: 3 years (non-renewable after completion).
- No pension, provident fund, gratuity, leave, or other perquisites.

Total number of duty hours may be increased up to 30 hours per week if required by the Bank.
Reservation Details
- Candidates must submit valid OBC certificate issued on or after April 01, 2025.
- Certificate must include Non-Creamy Layer clause based on income of FY 2022-23, 2023-24, and 2024-25.
- Certificate must match the caste/community name exactly as in the Central List of OBCs (available on NCBC Website).
- Migrated candidates must produce father’s OBC certificate from original state.
- Candidates belonging to Creamy Layer are not eligible for OBC reservation.

Selection Process

Other Important Information
- Engagement is temporary and contractual. No claim for regular employment will be entertained.
- Contract is terminable by either side with three months’ notice or three months’ remuneration in lieu.
- Medical Consultant must follow RBI’s code of conduct strictly.
- Disputes arising will be subject to jurisdiction of Chandigarh Courts.
