Eligibility Criteria

Salary, Pay Scale and Benefits

Officer – JMGS-I: Scale of Pay is ₹48,480 – 2000/7 – 62,480 – 2340/2 – 67,160 – 2680/7 – 85,920.

• LBOs shall join at the initial scale of pay for JMGS-I with 3 increments.
• Increments for acquiring qualifications (JAIIB, CAIIB) shall be protected.
• DA, HRA/Leased Accommodation, CCA, Medical, LTC, Terminal Benefits, and other perquisites will be paid as per Bank’s prevailing rules.

Probation Period, Bond and Career Path

• Probation Period: 6 months
• Bond Amount: Equivalent to 3 months’ gross salary (initial basic + DA + Special Allowance + DA on Special Allowance).
• Bond Period: 3 years (minimum service period required).
• One surety of equal bond amount must be furnished in the specified format before joining.
• Career path: Selected officers will be in general cadre, governed by promotion policy. No inter-state transfer/Controlling Office Posting/special branches until promotion to SMGS-IV or 12 years of service, whichever is earlier.

Credit History Requirement

Applicants must maintain a healthy credit history and have a minimum CIBIL score of 650 at the time of joining. A CIBIL report from the Bank (where the candidate has an account) must be submitted during document verification.

Exam Pattern (Online Test)

• Qualifying Marks: 40% for Unreserved & EWS, 35% for Reserved categories.
• Final merit list prepared by converting Written Test (70%) and Interview (30%) scores into 100 marks scale.
• Language Proficiency Test is mandatory unless candidate studied the language in 10th/12th standard.

• Log on to the official website and navigate to Recruitment section.
• Fill the online application form carefully.
• Upload scanned photograph, signature, thumb impression, handwritten declaration, and documents as per specifications.
• Pay the fees online through available digital payment methods.
• Download and print the system-generated application form and fee receipt.
• Multiple applications: Only the last valid complete application will be considered.

• Educational Certificates (from 10th onwards, with mark sheets & degree certificates)
• Experience Certificates, NOC from current employer if applicable
• Caste / Category / Disability / EWS certificates in prescribed formats

• Certificates for age relaxation (if applicable)
• Photo Identity Proof (PAN, Passport, Driving License, Voter ID, Aadhaar, etc.)
• Two recent passport-sized photographs
• Other relevant documents supporting eligibility

Reservation Policy

Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD categories will be provided as per Government of India guidelines. Valid certificates must be submitted in prescribed format at the time of document verification.

• OBC certificate must contain “Non-Creamy Layer” clause.
• EWS candidates must submit valid Income & Asset Certificate.
• PwBD categories include VI, HI, OC, ID, and MD. Only persons with ≥40% benchmark disability are eligible.
• No reservation for Ex-Servicemen in Officers’ Cadre.
