Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, invites applications for various project-based positions under the ICMR project titled “Centre for Advanced Research in Clinical Testing and Clinical Validation of Indigenous Novel Biomedical Devices and Instruments (CARCET)”.

Eligible candidates are invited to apply for the following contractual posts as per details mentioned below. The joining date will depend on the release of funds from the funding agency.

Eligibility Criteria

All educational qualification certificates must be from recognized Boards or Universities.
Experience will be considered only after completion of the minimum essential qualification.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Government Organizations.
Candidates must produce original and one attested photocopy of all documents during the Written Test.

Age Limit and Reservation

Age limit as per ICMR rules.
Age relaxation of 5 years for SC, ST, and OBC candidates.
Reservation will be applicable as per Government of India norms.
Community certificates must be issued by authorized government officers.

Selection Process

Written Test: 27 November 2025, 9:00 AM, at the Auditorium, Advanced Pediatrics Centre, PGIMER.
Interview: 27 November 2025, 11:00 AM (for shortlisted candidates).
No online mode for the Written Test or Interview.
Candidates must bring original documents and one attested copy of each for verification.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the selection process.

Working Hours and Other Details

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (09:00 AM – 05:00 PM) and Saturday (09:00 AM – 02:00 PM).
PGIMER OPD holidays will be treated as holidays.
Leave entitlement: 1.5 days per month without loss of pay.
Candidates with an aptitude for biomedical research or interest in pursuing higher studies abroad are encouraged to apply.
