Post Details

Applications are invited for the post of Clerk on Adhoc basis in the Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Amritsar. The engagement is purely temporary, initially for a period of six months or until regular appointment is made by the Hon’ble High Court.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: B.A. or B.Sc. or equivalent degree from a recognized University.
Language Requirement: Must have passed Punjabi as a subject in Matriculation or equivalent examination.
Computer Proficiency: Candidate must have proficiency in operation of computers.

Age Limit

Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 37 years (as on 01.01.2025)
Relaxation: As per Punjab Government norms.

Application Process

Candidates must submit their applications strictly on the prescribed proforma attached with the employment notice. The application must include two recent identical passport-size photographs and self-attested photocopies of all relevant testimonials such as proof of qualification, date of birth, and category certificate.

Selection Process

Selection will be made through a written test consisting of General Knowledge and English Composition.
A candidate must obtain at least 40% marks in aggregate to qualify.

Original documents must be brought at the time of proficiency test.
No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the test.
