  Professional Experience

  The applicant must possess a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the fields of Public Administration, Law, Education, Social Work, or Management.

  Mandatory Community / Public Organization Experience

  Documented experience of working with public organizations or community-based organizations is an essential and mandatory qualification for the post of Ombudsman.

  Physical Fitness

  The applicant must be physically capable and fit to discharge the official duties required of the position.

  Political & Banned Organization Disqualification

  Any individual who is an active member or associated with any political party or banned organization is strictly not eligible to apply. Every applicant is mandatorily required to submit a signed self-declaration affirming this condition along with the application form.

1. Application Scrutiny & Verification: Received applications along with attached certified documents and bio-data will be scrutinized at the district level by the relevant authorities.
2. Preparation of Shortlisted Candidates: A comprehensive list of eligible candidates who fulfill all prescribed requirements will be prepared along with their detailed bio-data.
3. Forwarding to State Level: The compiled list of qualified applicants will be transmitted to the State Government for final selection and official appointment.
4. Removal Condition: The State Government retains the complete authority to remove the appointed Ombudsman on grounds of unsatisfactory performance upon the formal recommendation of the Selection Committee.
