Stipend (Base Salary)

• Trade Apprentice: ₹7,700/- per month (1-year ITI course)
• Trade Apprentice: ₹8,050/- per month (2-year ITI course)
• Diploma Apprentice: ₹8,000/- per month
• Graduate Apprentice: ₹9,000/- per month

Application Process

1. Trade Apprentices must register at NAPS Portal (Establishment ID: E05200901473).
2. Diploma and Graduate Apprentices must register at NATS Portal (Establishment ID: NUPBUC093592).
3. After registration, candidates must also apply online through the NPCIL website: www.npcilcareers.co.in.
4. Upload all required documents including certificates, caste certificate (if applicable), income certificate (EWS), disability certificate (PwBD), photographs, signature, and identity proof.

Eligibility Criteria

• Trade Apprentice: ITI Pass in relevant trade (Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic).
• Diploma Apprentice: Diploma in relevant engineering/technology from recognized board/university.
• Graduate Apprentice: Graduate Degree in relevant engineering/technology from recognized university.
• Only full-time/regular qualifications are accepted.
• Diploma/Graduate candidates must have passed within the last 5 years (from 02.09.2025).

Age Limit (as on 02.09.2025)

• Trade Apprentice: 18 to 24 years
• Diploma Apprentice: 18 to 25 years
• Graduate Apprentice: 18 to 26 years

Relaxations:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC (NCL): 3 years
• PWD: 10 years (UR/EWS), 13 years (OBC NCL), 15 years (SC/ST)

Reservation Details

Reservations will be applicable as per Government of India rules. Category-wise seat distribution is provided in the official notification. Additionally:

• PwBD: 2 seats reserved for Trade Apprentice and 1 seat reserved for Diploma Apprentice.
• Minimum 40% disability required for PwBD eligibility.

Application Fees

No application fee is required. The application process is free of charge.

Selection Process

• Selection will be based on percentage of marks in qualifying examination (ITI/Diploma/Degree).
• In case of tie: older candidate will be given preference.
• If Date of Birth is also same, candidate with higher marks in 10th will be ranked higher.
• Preference will be given to local candidates within 16 km radius of Narora Atomic Power Station.

Physical Fitness Standards

Candidates must meet medical standards as per Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992. Minimum requirements:

• Height: 137 cm and above
• Weight: 25.4 kg and above
• Chest Expansion: Not less than 3.8 cm

General Conditions

• Only Indian Nationals above 18 years are eligible to apply.
• Police Verification Certificate and Character/Conduct Certificate are mandatory.
• No hostel or transport facilities will be provided.
• Completion of apprenticeship does not guarantee employment in NPCIL.
