Pay Scale / Salary
| E4 Grade | ₹70,000 – ₹2,00,000 |
| E3 Grade | ₹60,000 – ₹1,80,000 |

Educational Qualification
MD / DNB in General Medicine. The degree must be recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC), formerly Medical Council of India.
Experience Requirement
- E4 Grade: Minimum 1 year of experience/practice after obtaining MD/DNB.
- E3 Grade: Fresh MD/DNB candidates can apply. Candidates recruited in E3 with MD/DNB will be placed in E4 after completion of 1 year experience.

Application Process
Candidates are required to apply online only through the NTPC Careers Portal. The following documents must be uploaded during application:
- Class X & XII Certificate/Mark-sheet (Date of Birth proof)
- Aadhaar Card & PAN Card
- MBBS + MD/DNB degree and mark sheets (equivalence certificate if foreign)
- Internship Completion Certificate
- Medical Registration Certificate (Post PG)
- Valid Caste/Disability Certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD/EWS) in central format
- EWS candidates: Current year Income & Asset certificate (FY 2025–26)
- Disability Certificate (latest prescribed format, Swavlamban/UDID portal)
- Post-qualification experience proof (Relieving letter, Appointment letter, Service certificate, Salary slips etc.)

Selection Process
- Screening/Shortlisting Test (if required)
- Personal Interview
- Final Medical Examination by NTPC Medical Board/Officer (mandatory and binding)
General Conditions
- Only Indian Nationals are eligible.
- All qualifications must be recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Posting can be at any NTPC Project/Station/JV/Subsidiary. Transfers are at management’s discretion.
- Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate.
- No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in selection process.
- Any dispute will be subject to jurisdiction of Delhi courts only.
