Advertisement for Non-Teaching Staff (On Deputation or Contractual Basis)
Online applications are invited for appointment to the non-teaching posts, to be filled on deputation basis from eligible officials serving in Central/State Government, Autonomous Bodies, Statutory Authorities, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), and Public Sector Banks (PSBs), and on contractual basis from citizens of India, subject to eligibility conditions and maximum age limits as prescribed in the Recruitment Rules (2019) for NIT(s) for Non-Teaching posts.

Eligibility Criteria
- Recruitment Rules Reference: Eligibility conditions and qualifications are as prescribed in the Recruitment Rules (2019) for NIT(s) for Non-Teaching posts.
- Deputation Eligibility: Open to eligible officials serving in Central/State Government, Autonomous Bodies, Statutory Authorities, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), and Public Sector Banks (PSBs).
- Contractual Eligibility: Open to eligible citizens of India meeting the requirements prescribed under the Recruitment Rules (2019) for NITs.
Age Limit and Relaxation Rules
- The Maximum age limit for each post shall be as per Recruitment Rules (2019) of NITs. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not be exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of applications.
- The age relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PWD category candidates and Ex-Servicemen shall be given as per Government of India guidelines.

Fee Payment Guidelines & Exemptions:
- The Application Fee must be non-refundable and remitted Online only.
- The proof of depositing of fee should be submitted along with print out of online application.
- Please write applicant name on the ‘Receipt’ before attaching it to the print out of downloaded online application.
- Fee Exemption: SC/ST/Women/Divyaang and candidates applying for deputation are exempted for payment the application fees.
Application Process & Submission Instructions
- Online Registration & Application: Interested candidates must apply ONLINE only through the official link available on the Institute website: https://www.nituk.ac.in. The last date to submit online application is 04/11/2026.
- Online Fee Remittance: Deposit the requisite non-refundable fee online (if applicable) and preserve the transaction receipt. Ensure the applicant's name is written clearly on the receipt.
- Printout and Document Attachment: Take a print out of the downloaded online application form, attach the fee deposit receipt, and ensure the application is duly filled in all respects.
- Envelope Inscription: Enclose the complete hardcopy application in a sealed envelope duly superscribed as:
