Job Notification: Temporary Faculty Position at National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand

National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand is inviting applications from Indian nationals for the post of Temporary Faculty in the Department of Electronics Engineering for the academic year (Aug 2025 to May 2026). Interested candidates are required to appear for a Walk-in Interview on 22nd May 2025. Below are the details for the job notification:

Qualifications Required

Essential: Ph.D. in respective discipline with first class (60% marks or CGPA 6.5/10) at both UG & PG levels from a recognized University/Institute.
Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates who have obtained their Ph.D. from NITs/IITs/CF Universities/Institutes with NIRF ranking.

Selection Process

Candidates are required to attend the Walk-in Interview on 22nd May 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Conference Room, Admin Block, NIT Uttarakhand.
Candidates must come prepared for a 5-10 minute presentation on a topic relevant to the post applied for.
The selection process will be based on the interview and presentation.
The decision of the Competent Authority will be final in the matter of selection.

General Conditions

The appointment is purely temporary for the academic year (Aug 2025 to May 2026) or till the regular incumbent joins, whichever is earlier.
The selected candidate will have no right or claim for continuous employment or permanency in the future based on this temporary appointment.
Candidates attending the interview must report at 10:00 AM sharp on the day of the interview.
The institute reserves the right to fill or not to fill the posts.
Candidates will have to appear for the Walk-In-Interview at their own cost at Srinagar Garhwal, Uttarakhand.
Any dispute regarding recruitment will fall under the jurisdiction of District Pauri Garhwal.

Eligibility Criteria
