Eligibility Criteria

Finance Officer

• Graduate degree from a recognized University.
• Experience in Administration, Finance, Accounts, Audit, Budget, and other financial matters.
• Eligibility for the post includes:
  • Holding an analogous post on regular basis in Level-11 (₹67,700 - ₹2,08,700) OR
  • 7 years of service in Level-9 (₹53,100 - ₹1,67,800) OR
  • 8 years of service in Level-8 (₹47,600 - ₹1,51,100)

Administrative Officer

• Eligibility includes:
  • Holding an analogous post on regular basis in Level-9 (₹53,100 - ₹1,67,800) OR
  • 3 years of regular service in Level-7 (₹44,900 - ₹1,42,400)

Assistant

• Eligibility includes:
  • Holding an analogous post on regular basis in Level-6 (₹35,400 - ₹1,12,400) OR
  • 10 years of regular service in Level-4 (₹25,500 - ₹81,100)

Senior Translation Officer/Senior Hindi Translator

• Master’s degree in Hindi or English or equivalent.
• Experience in translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa.
• Eligibility includes:
  • Holding an analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department OR
  • 3 years of service in Level-6 (₹35,400 - ₹1,12,400) or equivalent.

Age Limit

• Age Limit: Not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications.

• Reservation: The post is unreserved (UR).

Selection Process

The selection process will be based on the eligibility criteria, qualifications, and experience. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The Institute reserves the right to shortlist candidates based on the number of applicants.

• Appointment on deputation will be on Foreign Service terms for a period of 3 years.
• Candidates must submit their applications through the proper channel.

• Disputes, if any, will be subject to Roorkee (Uttarakhand) jurisdiction only.
• The Director, NIH reserves the right to increase or decrease the posts or not to fill any or all the advertised posts.

• APAR dossier for the last 5 years.
• Cadre Clearance Certificate.
• Integrity Certificate.
• No Vigilance or Disciplinary cases pending certificate.

• If the number of candidates is large, the Institute reserves the right to shortlist candidates for interviews based on eligibility criteria.
• Candidates should ensure their application is forwarded through the proper channel; applications not forwarded properly will not be considered.
• The selected candidates will be paid TA as per the Institute's rules for attending the interview.
• The Director, NIH reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or even to cancel the advertisement without assigning any reason.

Deputation Terms

Selected candidates will be appointed on deputation for a period of 3 years under Foreign Service terms, as per the Government of India's guidelines and provisions contained in DOPT O.M. No. 6/08/2009-Estt (Pay-II) dated 17.06.2010.

Jurisdiction

All disputes, if any, regarding the recruitment process, will be subject to the jurisdiction of Roorkee (Uttarakhand) only.
