All the above posts are contractual in nature, initially up to 31 March 2026, but extendable depending upon the candidate’s performance, conduct, and the duration of the respective project.

Important Dates and Interview Schedule

• Walk-in Interview Date: 13 November 2025
• Registration Timing: 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM (strictly followed)
• Interview Venue: Office of Mission Director, National Health Mission, 4th Floor, Administrative Block, Govt. Multi-Speciality Hospital, Sector-16, Chandigarh

Note: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Application Process

Desirous candidates possessing the required qualifications may attend the walk-in interview with the following documents and details:

• Duly filled Bio-data/Application Form (available on the official website).
• Self-attested copies of all certificates/testimonials (from matriculation onwards).
• One recent passport-size photograph duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.
• Original certificates must be brought for verification at the time of interview.

Registration for the interview shall be conducted strictly between 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Latecomers will not be entertained. Candidates are advised to report on time for smooth processing.

Eligibility Criteria

• MBBS Degree with MD/DNB in the respective specialty from a recognized university.
• Registration with State Medical Council or Medical Council of India, New Delhi is mandatory.
• Preference will be given to candidates with relevant field experience.
• CCC+ (Course on Computer Concepts Plus – 120 hours) is desirable.

Age Limit

The upper age limit for all the advertised posts is up to 62 years, as these positions are designated for specialists.

Reservation Details

The recruitment includes backlog vacancies under the OBC category. The following conditions apply:

1. The backlog posts of OBC category under NHM have been advertised several times previously. However, no candidate from the reserved category appeared for the interview.
2. If again no candidate from the reserved category appears for the interview, these posts shall be filled from the General Category on a conditional basis up to 31 March 2026.
3. The claim of candidates under the OBC category will be considered only when accompanied by the certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format.
4. Only those OBC category candidates will be considered whose caste is included under the OBC category of the State List, U.T. Chandigarh, as per the following notifications:
   • F-III-SW-127/SW/OBC/95/1245 dated 27.06.1995
   • F3/SW/OBC/2001/2272 dated 03.09.2001
   • No.F3/SW/OBC/2004/443-445 dated 05.02.2004
   • SW/OBC/2015/2951 dated 26.03.2015

Application Fees

No application fee has been mentioned in the official notification.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be based solely on their performance in the walk-in interview and verification of eligibility documents. There will be no written examination.

The Mission Director, NHM, reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts and even cancel the walk-in interview without assigning any reason.
