About National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC)

National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) is a joint venture company formed by the Government of India and the participating state governments of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. The corporation functions under the administrative control of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.

NCRTC has been entrusted with the responsibility of implementing the Namo Bharat Project across the National Capital Region (NCR). The project aims to ensure balanced and sustainable urban development by improving connectivity and accessibility between major regional centers.

The Namo Bharat Project is a dedicated, high-speed, rail-based, high-capacity commuter transport system designed to provide world-class, comfortable, and modern transportation services across the NCR region.

During the first phase, three major corridors have been planned:

• Delhi – Meerut Corridor
• Delhi – Gurugram – SNB – Alwar Corridor
• Delhi – Panipat – Karnal Corridor

NCRTC is currently implementing the Delhi–Meerut corridor, which has already been fully opened for commercial revenue operations.

These infrastructure projects are expected to provide a new transportation backbone for the region while also promoting the development of suburban centers, generating employment opportunities, and reducing congestion in urban areas.

Essential Educational Qualification

• Full-time B.E. / B.Tech. degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

Preferred Qualification

• Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Construction Management or equivalent qualification.
• Post Graduate / Master's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• MBA in the relevant field.

Experience Requirements

Candidates must fulfill any one of the following conditions:

1. Minimum 17 years of experience in Central Government organized Group 'A' services related to Civil Engineering.
2. Minimum 20 years of post-qualification experience at Executive Level E2 (₹50,000–₹1,60,000) or Level L9 (₹53,100–₹1,67,800) or above in:
   • Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs)
   • Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs)
   • Central Government organizations
   • State Government organizations

Technical Experience Requirement

• Candidates must possess a minimum of 10 years of technical experience and domain knowledge relevant to the post.

Domain Experience Accepted by NCRTC

The following experience areas shall be considered as valid domain experience:

• Construction of viaducts for RRTS, highways, railways and metro systems.
• Construction of tunnels.
• Construction of elevated stations.
• Construction of underground stations.
• Construction and maintenance of tracks for Metro and RRTS systems.
• Construction of new railway lines.
• Multi-tracking of railway lines.
• Maintenance of passenger railway lines.

Current and Required Pay Scale Eligibility

For CDA Pay Scale Candidates

• Candidates must be working in Pay Level-14 (₹1,44,200 – ₹2,18,200) or above.

For IDA Pay Scale Candidates

• Candidates working in E8 pay scale (₹1,20,000 – ₹2,80,000).
• Candidates who have completed the last four years of service in E7 pay scale (₹1,00,000 – ₹2,60,000).

Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Planning and construction of sub-structure and super-structure for elevated viaducts.
• Planning and construction of elevated stations and associated ancillary works for the Namo Bharat System.
• Planning and construction of underground tunnels and stations for the Namo Bharat RRTS System.
• Planning and construction of depots and ancillary stations.
• Laying of ballasted and ballast-less tracks according to prescribed standards.
• Contract management of FIDIC and non-FIDIC contracts.
• Monitoring progress and maintaining contractual correspondence.
• Taking actions for dispute prevention and dispute resolution.
• Ensuring quality assurance during construction.
• Fixing alignments and utility shifting.
• Coordinating and interfacing with utility owners and government agencies.
• Land acquisition activities.
• Resettlement and rehabilitation work.
• Preparation of bid documents including Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
