Eligibility Criteria for Senior Deputy General Manager / Transport Planner

Experience Requirement

• Government / PSU candidates must possess a minimum of 11 years of post-qualification experience in Transport Planning.
• The experience should be at E2 level / Level-9 or above.
• Private sector candidates must possess a minimum of 13 years of post-qualification experience in Transport Planning.

Required Pay Scale / CTC

Documents Required for CTC Verification

1. Form 16 issued by the employer showing gross salary.
2. Income Tax Return (ITR) submitted to the Income Tax Department.
3. Last 12 months’ salary slips matching the required CTC.

Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Manager / Transport Planner

• Minimum five years of post-qualification experience in Transport Planning.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and evaluate transport plans, mobility plans, and traffic impact assessments for RRTS corridors and station areas.
• Assist in integrated multimodal planning involving rail systems, metro systems, buses, feeder services, non-motorized transport, and last-mile connectivity.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and civil teams for station access planning, parking facilities, interchange facilities, and traffic circulation.
• Undertake planning activities related to rail-based public transport systems and multimodal transport studies.
• Prepare detailed project reports for Metro Rail, High-Speed Rail, and Regional Rapid Transit System projects.
• Prepare comprehensive mobility plans.
• Conduct public transport demand forecasting and related surveys.
• Carry out alignment studies.
• Plan feeder transport systems.
• Develop multimodal integration strategies.
