Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• A basic university or equivalent medical qualification included in any of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
• Must be registered in the State/Central Medical Register under the Medical Registration Act.
• MD Psychiatry or DNB Psychiatry.

Experience

• Desirable: 2 years of experience working as a Psychiatrist in a hospital.

Additional Notes

• Medical and non-medical teachers must possess a basic university qualification included in the Schedules of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
• Candidates must be registered under the State/Central Medical Registration Act.

Application Process

1. Candidates must appear for the walk-in interview on the scheduled date and time.
2. Hard copies of the application form and photocopies of certificates must be submitted in the conference room before the interview.
3. All application form columns must be filled carefully; no changes will be permitted later.
4. Candidates must bring original documents for verification along with two recent passport-size photographs.
5. Candidates employed in Govt./Semi-Govt./Corporate bodies must bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
6. No separate call letter for the walk-in interview will be issued.

Age Limit

• Upper Age Limit (as on 01.10.2025): 40 years
• SC candidates applying for UR post are not eligible for age relaxation.

• PwD candidates must have a minimum 40% disability supported by a UDID certificate.

Reservation Details

Selection Process

• Selection will be done through a walk-in interview only.
• The decision of the competent authority will be final.

• Candidature is provisional and subject to verification of eligibility, age, and documentary proof.
• Candidates who do not meet eligibility criteria or are overage will be rejected.
• Department reserves the right to cancel/reject any application at any time without notice.
• Candidates previously removed from service by the institute due to misconduct are not eligible.
• Post is full-time and private practice is strictly prohibited.
• Incomplete or unsigned applications and those without required documents or fee will be rejected.
