Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), autonomous bodies under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, have released a detailed notification for recruitment to multiple Teaching and Non-Teaching posts. Eligibility Criteria (Summary)

Educational qualifications vary depending on the post.
CTET qualification is mandatory for PRT and TGT posts (except Music, Art, Work Education, Librarian, Physical/Health Education).
Candidates must know both Hindi and English.
Experience is required for senior posts such as Principal, Vice Principal, and Assistant Commissioner.

Age Limit

Assistant Commissioner: Up to 45–50 years
Principal: 35–50 years
Vice Principal: 35–45 years
PGT: Up to 40 years
TGT / Librarian / Special Educator: Up to 35 years
PRT / PRT Music: Up to 30 years
Non-Teaching Posts: 27–45 years depending on post
Minimum age for all posts: 18 years

Age Relaxation

SC / ST: 5 years
OBC-NCL: 3 years
Women (PGT, TGT, Librarian, PRT): 10 years
PwBD (General): 10 years
PwBD (OBC): 13 years
PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
Regular employees of KVS/NVS: Additional relaxation as per rules
Ex-Servicemen: As per Government of India rules

Selection Process

Teaching Posts: Written Examination → Skill Test (if applicable) → Interview → Document Verification
Non-Teaching Posts: Written Examination → Typing/Steno Skill Test → Document Verification

Other Important Information

Postings are transferable anywhere in India.
NVS teachers must perform residential school duties.
