Comprehensive Eligibility Criteria

1. Retirement & Conduct Track Record

Candidate must have retired honourably, either through superannuation or through Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS).
The candidate must not have been awarded any punishment (whether major or minor) during active service.
The candidate must not have been charge-sheeted or punished for serious lapses/offences in his/her active service.
Special Requirement for Retired Officers of Other PSU Banks: A certificate in the prescribed Annexure issued by the Human Resource Department of the Head Office of their respective employer bank must be furnished confirming the clean track record and absence of penalties.

2. Cadre & Experience Requirements

The officer must have retired at the rank of Scale III or above.
Must have a minimum experience of 15 years as an Officer in the bank with a satisfactory track record.
Must possess at least 3 years of dedicated experience in dealing with:
- High-value credit
- Project finance
- Consortium lending
- Foreign exchange portfolio (either at Branches, controlling office/s, or serving as a Credit Auditor)

3. Age Limit

Must not be above the age of 65 years as on 01.09.2026.

4. Medical Fitness & Travel Readiness

Must be medically fit to discharge the assignments and responsibilities of Credit Audit.
Submission of a medical fitness certificate from a qualified medical practitioner holding a minimum qualification of MBBS is mandatory along with the application.
Must have the willingness and physical ability to undertake travel, even to distant branches or locations across the country, for audit, inspection, or security verification whenever needed.

5. Technical & Computer Competency

Must have adequate computer knowledge and proficiency to handle systems independently, as the audit and inspection reports must be punched and submitted online.
Must be well versed and familiar with the Finacle Core Banking Solution (CBS) operating environment.

- Prescribed Annexure certificate from the HR Department of Head Office of the parent bank (mandatory for retired officers of other PSU banks).
- Valid medical fitness certificate issued by a registered medical practitioner (minimum qualification: MBBS).
Physical Dispatch (Hard Copies): The hard copies of the downloaded application form along with the duly filled annexures and mandatory enclosures must reach the designated office by or before 23.10.2026.
