Project Information
Project Title: AI-Driven Scaffold Hopping to Optimize DNA Gyrase Inhibitors for Combating Multidrug-Resistant (AMR)
Co-Principal Investigator: Prof. Nasimul Hoda
Project Tenure: Initially for a period of one year, with the provision of further continuation till the duration of the project, subject to satisfactory performance.
Job Responsibilities
- Organic synthesis
- Scaffold-hopping strategies
- Execution of multistep chemical reactions
- Optimization of reaction conditions
- Compound purification and characterization
- Use of standard chemical and analytical techniques
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications
- Three years Graduate degree in a relevant subject/field with three years of post-qualification research experience.
- OR Postgraduate / Master’s degree in Chemistry, M.Pharm, Biochemistry, or a relevant subject/field with at least 55% marks.
Desirable Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in organic synthesis and purification
- Experience in compound characterization (NMR, MS, IR, HPLC)
- Experience in biochemical or microbiological assays will be an added advantage
Age Limit
The upper age limit for applying to this post is 35 years. Age relaxation will be applicable as per ICMR guidelines.
Salary / Remuneration
| Basic Consolidated Pay | ₹28,000 per month |
| House Rent Allowance | 30% HRA |
| Total Monthly Remuneration | ₹36,400 per month |
