Educational Qualification

• Candidates must possess a B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.

Experience Requirements

• 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on exposure to Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs), robotics, or similar engineering platforms.

Desirable Skills

• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or equivalent tools.
• Experience with FEA software such as ANSYS Mechanical or equivalent.
• Knowledge of mechanical system design.
• Experience in structural design.
• Component integration experience.
• Programming knowledge in Python.
• Programming knowledge in MATLAB/Simulink.
• CSWP (Certified SolidWorks Professional) in Mechanical Design will be an added advantage.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Lead the mechanical design and development of UGV platforms including chassis, suspension, and structural systems.
2. Develop detailed CAD models, assemblies, and production-ready manufacturing drawings.
3. Perform design validation using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulations and interpret results for performance improvement.
4. Drive iterative design improvements based on testing feedback, engineering constraints, and overall system requirements.
5. Define suitable material selection, tolerances, and manufacturing processes for optimized performance and cost.
6. Supervise prototype fabrication, assembly, and complete system-level integration.
7. Ensure efficient packaging and mounting of onboard electronics, sensors, and payload systems.
8. Generate and maintain engineering documentation including Bills of Materials (BOMs), design revisions, and technical reports.
9. Ensure compliance with design standards, safety requirements, and project timelines.
