Essential Qualification

• Candidates must possess a First Class B.E./B.Tech. degree.
• The degree should be in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
• Candidates must have a valid GATE qualification.

Desirable Qualification

• First Class M.E./M.Tech. degree.
• Specialization in High Voltage Engineering or Power System Engineering.
• Valid GATE qualification.

Job Responsibilities and Work Description

The selected candidate will work on the sponsored research project involving smart insulator technology and energy harvesting systems.

• Develop self-powered smart insulator prototypes using triboelectric energy harvesting.
• Test the electrical, mechanical, and environmental performance of the developed prototypes.
• Integrate sensors and wireless monitoring systems for real-time condition assessment.
