Salary / Emoluments
- ₹37,000/- per month
- Additional 9% House Rent Allowance (HRA), as applicable
Duration of Appointment
The initial duration of the appointment is 09 months.
The appointment may be extended up to the project duration based on performance reviews.
Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Science Engineering (CSE), or equivalent discipline.
- Minimum CGPA above 7.0 on a 10-point scale or minimum 70% aggregate marks, irrespective of category.
GATE / NET Qualification
- It is desirable that the candidate has qualified GATE or National Eligibility Tests such as CSIR-UGC NET, including lectureship.
- Candidates having Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from IITs, NITs, IIITs, or other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) with CGPA 8.0 or above (on a 10-point scale) are exempted from the GATE/NET requirement.
Job Description & Required Skills
The selected Junior Research Fellow will be involved in research and development activities related to cell-free massive MIMO systems for 5G and 6G networks.
- Development of baseband algorithms using signal processing and deep learning techniques
- Prototyping algorithms on RFSoC and USRP boards
- Documentation and presentation of research outcomes in appropriate forums
Essential Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of Linear Algebra, Probability Theory, Random Processes, and Wireless Communication
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python, and MATLAB
- Experience with RFSoC, MPSoC, FPGA, or USRP boards
- Experience in writing research papers, patents, or technical reports
