Project and Position Details

Eligibility Criteria

• Essential Qualification: M.Tech in Geomatics / Remote Sensing and GIS / Hydrology / Geotechnical Engineering OR M.Sc. in Geology with experience in Remote Sensing / GIS / Glaciology.
• Additional Requirement: Candidate must have a valid GATE / NET / JRF qualification.
• Desirable Experience: Experience in hydrological modeling, geospatial analysis, and SAR data analysis. Basic understanding of the cryosphere/glaciology will be considered suitable.

Job Description

The selected candidate will be involved in glaciology, cryosphere studies, snowmelt runoff modeling, and geospatial data analysis as part of the ongoing CO-INVENT project between India and Norway.

The selection will be conducted through a walk-in interview. Candidates will be shortlisted based on eligibility and experience. Selected candidates may get an opportunity for admission to the Ph.D. program upon satisfactory performance.
