Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications:
- Doctoral Degree (Science/Technology/Management) with 2 years’ experience in Human Resource Development projects and Training, Capacity Building, and Case studies related to Environment, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Climate Change, Adaptation, Safety, etc.
- OR Master’s Degree (Science/Technology/Management) with 5 years’ experience in the above-mentioned areas.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Experience working in Science-Policy-Practice interface projects.
- Ability to develop training manuals and policy-linked research case studies.
- Experience in conducting trainings and workshops in Climate Change & DRR, Green Growth, Adaptation, Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) for Sustainability.
- Experience in working with national-level training institutes would be preferred.
Job Description
- Assist PI & Co-PI and coordinate with the team in project management and steering.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret various primary & secondary data/literature references related to climate adaptation and resilience, HRVA, Sectoral planning, Human Resource Development, etc.
- Assist in drafting documents, sectoral strategies, toolkits, annual reports, DPRs, research frameworks, agendas, etc.
- Assist in carrying out Training Need Analysis (TNA), Capacity Gap & Needs (CNAs), policy planning, and competency strategies.
- Assist in conducting and organizing meetings and training programmes.
- Project management and other work assigned by the PI and in sync with Professor I/c (ICARS) from time to time.
- The position is specifically for the Greater Noida Campus of IIT Roorkee.
