Nationality / Citizenship

• A Citizen of India, or
• A subject of Nepal, or
• A subject of Bhutan, or
• A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
• A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Eligibility Snapshot

• Candidates must possess qualifications from recognized University/Institution/Board approved by Government of India or regulatory bodies.
• All required certificates must be valid on the cut-off date and active on the date of application and interview.
• A candidate can apply for only one post.
• In case of multiple applications, only the latest valid completed application will be retained and fees for other registrations will be forfeited.

Reservation Details

• Reservation is available for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwBD categories as per Government of India norms.
• OBC reservation is only for Non-Creamy Layer candidates.
• The OBC (NCL) certificate should be issued on or after 01 April 2026 till the date of interview.
• PwBD candidates must submit disability certificate and UDID issued by competent authority.
• Temporary disability certificates marked “likely to improve” are not eligible for PwBD reservation benefits.
• PwBD conditions marked progressive, non-progressive, or not likely to improve are treated equivalent to permanent disabilities for reservation purpose.
• There is no reservation for Ex-Servicemen in Officers’ Cadre.

Application Process

1. Visit the Bank’s website and open the Careers page.
2. Click on “Recruitment of Specialist Officers - 2026”.
3. Click “Click here for New Registration”.
4. Enter name, contact details, and e-mail ID.
5. Note the provisional registration number and password generated by the system.
6. Use “Save and Next” if the form is not completed in one go.
7. Carefully fill and verify all entries before final submission.
8. Upload photograph and signature as per prescribed specifications.
9. Fill the remaining details in the application form.
10. Preview the complete form before registration completion.
11. Complete registration only after confirming all details are correct.
12. Proceed to the payment tab and pay the fee online.

Selection Process

• Selection process includes Test and/or Interview as decided by the Bank.
• Candidates must produce documents in support of eligibility, qualification, category, and experience.
• Bank’s decision regarding eligibility scrutiny, stages of selection, interview, verification, and recruitment matters will be final and binding.

Key General Instructions

• Only one post can be applied for by a candidate.
• Online applications once registered cannot be withdrawn.
• No refund of application fee/intimation charges will be made once paid.
• No request for change of address, date, time, or venue of test/interview will be entertained.
• Any canvassing or attempt to influence the process will lead to disqualification.
• Any unruly behavior or misbehavior in test/interview will result in cancellation of candidature and possible future debarment.
• Signature in capital letters will not be acceptable.
• A recent recognizable photograph must be uploaded and retained for future stages.
• If any version of the advertisement other than English differs, the English version on the Bank website will prevail.
