Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum educational qualification: MBBS in Allopathic system from an MCI-recognized university.
- Post-qualification experience of at least 10 years in a hospital or private practice.
- Valid registration with the Medical Council of India is mandatory.
- Availability for both fixed consultation hours and emergency calls as required.
Remuneration and Working Terms
- Consolidated monthly honorarium: ₹15,000 (subject to TDS).
- Minimum 10 working hours per week (2 hours per day on working days).
- Services to be provided at Indian Bank, Zonal Office Sambalpur.
- No additional fees allowed for house visits or emergency services.
- No conveyance or club membership fees will be reimbursed.
- Proportionate deduction in honorarium for any absence from duty.
- Consultant will not be entitled to claim permanent employment or additional perks.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide medical consultation during fixed hours.
- Attend emergency calls (including evenings, nights, weekends).
- Be present during Board/Management meetings when required.
- Conduct house visits for executives' families when necessary.
- Provide medical opinions on leave and transfer requests.
- Support hospitalization and direct settlement processes for bank staff.
- Participate in CSR medical programs or camps.
- Any additional medical responsibilities assigned by the bank.

Selection Process
- Shortlisting based on eligibility criteria.

- Serve with honesty, loyalty, and diligence.

- Refrain from alcohol or drugs while on duty.
- No solicitation or acceptance of gifts.
- No absence without prior approval or acceptable alternate arrangements.
- Prohibition from outsourcing their duties or responsibilities.
- Prohibited from committing acts of sexual harassment or misconduct.
- Contract liable to termination upon misconduct, negligence, arrest, or breach of code.
Termination Clause
- Contract may be terminated by either party with one month’s written notice.
- Bank reserves right to cancel/modify contract at any time with notice.
- Disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of courts in Sambalpur only.
- Medical Consultant is fully liable for own professional negligence and must indemnify the bank from any such claims.
