Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must possess a Ph.D. in one of the following disciplines and demonstrate relevant research experience and publications as detailed below.

• Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication / Instrumentation / Mechatronics / Geoinformatics / Geospatial / Agricultural Engineering / Computer Science
• Experience Requirements:
  • Proven experience in hardware development for agricultural or environmental systems.
  • IoT sensor design and calibration (soil moisture, temperature, NPK, pH, etc.).
  • Embedded system design (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, STM series, etc.).
  • PCB design, circuit integration, and power management.
  • UAV sensor payload integration and testing.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML model interfacing, data acquisition systems, and wireless communication (LoRa, GSM, Wi-Fi, BLE).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary hardware–software teams.
  • Minimum 3 first-author SCI-indexed journal publications.
  • Willingness to perform extensive field work.
