Stipend / Base Salary

• Graduate Apprentice Trainees: ₹9,000/- per month

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have successfully completed a 3-year Diploma in Engineering or Graduation (full-time, regular basis) in respective disciplines from an institution recognized by AICTE.
• Qualifications acquired through Distance Learning Mode, Part Time Mode, or Correspondence Mode will not be considered.
• Candidates possessing higher professional qualifications such as B.E./B.Tech or equivalent, MBA or equivalent, MCA/CA/ICWA, LLB or equivalent are not eligible. Suppression of such qualifications will lead to disqualification.
• Candidates with more than one year of prior apprenticeship training or work experience (as of 31.07.2025) are not eligible.
• Candidates who have already completed or terminated apprenticeship training, or are pursuing apprenticeship in another organization, including other HURL units, are not eligible.

• Maximum Age: 25 years (as on 31.07.2025)

Application Process

1. Candidates must register online as students on the NATS 2.0 Portal at https://nats.education.gov.in/student_register.php.
2. Login with registered email ID and password.
3. Under “Apply against advertised apprenticeship vacancies,” search for “HINDUSTAN URVARAK AND RASAYAN LIMITED” and click Apply.
4. Only one discipline code can be applied for. Applications for multiple discipline codes will be rejected.
5. Candidates must have Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, active bank account seeded with Aadhaar and enabled for DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).
6. Candidates should upload scanned self-attested copies of documents as required on the NATS portal.
7. Incomplete or non-eligible applications will be rejected.
8. Candidates must maintain the same registered email ID and mobile number till the completion of apprenticeship training.

Selection Process

• Shortlisting will be based on the merit list prepared from the percentage of marks obtained in the required qualification.
• In case of tie (same marks), the older candidate (as per DOB in Class 10 marksheet) will be given preference.
• No written test or interview will be conducted.
• Shortlisted candidates must undergo document verification and pre-engagement medical fitness tests by the District Civil Surgeon or equivalent authority.
• No reimbursement will be provided for medical fitness tests or travel (TA/DA).
• Seven (7) days will be given to the selected candidates to join after contract approval. Non-reporting may result in cancellation of candidature.
• Apprentices shall be eligible for annual leave as per Apprentices Act, 1961.
• In case of insufficient applications, HURL may accept applications on a first-come-first-serve basis.

• Any corrigendum or updates will be available only on the official HURL website.
• Candidature will be provisional and subject to verification of certificates and testimonials. Incorrect or false information will lead to cancellation of candidature.
• Completion of apprenticeship does not guarantee employment in HURL.
• Apprentices not completing training or being absent without valid grounds will have their contract terminated without notice.
• Legal jurisdiction of any disputes will be in Gorakhpur (U.P.) only.
