Apprenticeship Training Details

The Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited (HPSEBL) under the Himachal Pradesh Power Sector Development Program invites applications for one-year Apprenticeship Training from eligible female candidates only. The details of trades, number of seats, and qualifications are given below:

Finance & Accounts	5	CA/ICWA/M.Com/MBA (Finance) from a recognized University/Institute of India. Candidates with M.Com/MBA (Finance) must also have passed B.Com at graduation level
Law	3	Graduate in Law from a recognized University/Institute of India
Information Technology	11	B.E./B.Tech. (Computer Engg./Computer Science/Information Technology) or MCA or B.E./B.Tech. in any branch with one-year PG Diploma in Computer Science from a recognized University/Institute of India
Management Studies	6	Bachelor degree in Business Administration (BBA)/Management Studies (BMS) or B.Com (Management Studies) from a recognized University/Institute of India
Environmental & Social Science	4	B.E./B.Tech. in Environment Engg./Environment Science or B.E./B.Tech. in any branch with PG Degree/Diploma in Environment Engg./Sciences from a recognized University/Institute of India

Eligibility Criteria

Only female candidates are eligible to apply.
Candidates must meet the educational qualification as per the respective discipline/trade.
Result awaited candidates are not eligible.
Candidates with qualifications obtained through Distance Learning, Part-time, or Correspondence modes are not eligible.
Candidates must apply for only one trade/discipline. Multiple applications will be rejected.
Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training or have more than one year of job experience are ineligible.

Age Limit

The age criteria for candidates is as follows:

Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 30 years (as on 31/08/2025)
Relaxation: 5 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PwDs/PAFs of HPSEBL

Stipend and Training Duration

Stipend: ₹9,000/- per month
Training Duration: One year (without extension)

Reservation and Preference

Candidates belonging to Project Affected Family (PAF) of HPSEBL
Candidates belonging to Project Affected Areas (PAA) of HPSEBL
Candidates in order of merit

Selection Process

The selection will be based on document screening and merit list prepared according to the following weightage:

Marks obtained in Matriculation (10th): 20%
Marks obtained in 10+2 or Diploma (whichever is higher): 20%
Marks in Essential Qualification of trade: 60%

Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification in the ratio of 1:3 for each seat. Final merit list will be published on the official website of HPSEBL.

Candidates must download the application form from the official website: www.hpseb.in
Candidates must fill the prescribed format and attach all required documents.
Scanned application form must be sent via email to apprenticeship@hpseb.in on or before 21/10/2025.
No other mode of application will be accepted.

Other Terms and Conditions

No application shall be entertained after the closing date.
No accommodation, HRA, conveyance, or medical facilities will be provided apart from the monthly stipend.
HPSEBL shall have no obligation to offer regular employment after the completion of apprenticeship.
Candidates must have a valid email ID and mobile number for communication.
Incomplete applications shall be rejected without assigning any reason.
Any corrigendum/addendum will be available only on the official website.
HPSEBL reserves the right to withdraw or cancel the notification at any time without assigning any reason.
