Application Process

Candidates must submit their Online Recruitment Application (ORA) through the HPPSC official website. Only online mode of application is accepted. No other mode will be considered.

1. Visit the HPPSC website and complete the One Time Registration (OTR).
2. Login using OTR credentials.
3. Select the advertisement and fill out the Online Recruitment Application (ORA).
4. Upload required documents: Matriculation certificate, degree certificates, bonafide certificate (if applicable), category certificate, etc.
5. Review all uploaded documents carefully before final submission.
6. Submit the application and pay the examination fee online via Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, or other digital modes.
7. Once submitted, no corrections are allowed except category changes under specific rules.

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification

• MBBS Degree recognized under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
• Completion of compulsory rotating internship.
• Qualification under Part-II of the Third Schedule requires compliance with Section 13(3) of the IMC Act.

Desirable Qualification

• Postgraduate Degree or Diploma recognized under the IMC Act.
• Postgraduate qualification from a recognized institution (Appendix-A).
• Knowledge of customs, manners, and dialects of Himachal Pradesh.

Age Limit

• Age Range: 18 to 45 years as on 01 January 2025

Age Relaxation

• SC/ST/OBC/EWS/WFF/PWD (Himachal Pradesh only): 5 years
• HP Government employees and Ex-Servicemen: As per State Government rules

Reservation Details

Reservation is applicable only for Bonafide Himachali candidates belonging to eligible categories.

Additional Important Instructions

• No admit card will be sent by post; candidates must download it from the website.
• Candidates must retain their OTR User ID and password for all future logins.
• Objections to the answer key can be submitted within 5 days with a fee of ₹100 per question.
• The recruitment process falls under the Himachal Pradesh Prevention of Malpractice Act, 1984.
• Submission of false information may lead to cancellation and disciplinary action.
• Reserved category certificates must be valid on the closing date.
• Candidates appearing at any center other than the allotted center will face cancellation.
