Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.

Experience

Minimum 05 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Pay Level-10 or equivalent administrative experience in a higher education institution.

Language Requirement

Knowledge of Gujarati language is essential.
Candidates whose mother tongue is not Gujarati must acquire proficiency in Gujarati within one year from the date of appointment.

Age Limit

Maximum Age Limit	Not more than 45 years

Reservation Details

Reservation and relaxation in eligibility will be provided for SC, ST, OBC, EWS and PwD candidates as per Government of Gujarat norms.
Candidates applying for reserved posts must clearly mention their category.
Candidates must submit a valid certificate issued by the competent authority as proof of reservation.
Candidates belonging to SEBC category must submit a self-attested copy of valid caste certificate clearly mentioning the Creamy Layer exclusion as per Government of Gujarat format.
Only candidates having benchmark disability of 40% or more will be eligible for disability benefits.
The disability certificate must be issued by the Superintendent / Civil Surgeon / Medical Board of Government Hospital in the prescribed format.
