Eligibility Criteria

Doctor (Medical Officer)

• MBBS degree from a recognized institution
• Valid Medical Council Registration
• MD or equivalent qualification in Psychiatry is preferable

Counsellor

• Graduate degree in Psychology / Social Work / Sociology
• Master’s degree in the above disciplines is preferable

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 40 years
• Age calculated as on 31 December 2025
• Age relaxation of 5 years applicable for SC / ST / PH candidates

Reservation Details

• Reservation applicable as per Government of Tripura norms
• Caste certificate is mandatory for reserved category candidates

Application Process

1. Application mode is offline only
2. Candidates must submit the prescribed application format
3. Two passport-size colored photographs must be attached
4. Self-attested copies of all certificates must be enclosed
5. Application must be submitted to the Office of Modern Psychiatric Hospital, Narsingarh, West Tripura
6. Applications received after the last date will not be accepted

Selection Process

• Selection will be purely merit-based
• 90% weightage will be given to academic performance
• 10% weightage will be given to interview/viva-voce
• Candidates with pending criminal cases are not eligible
• Providing false information will lead to cancellation of candidature
