Retired Technical Officer / Retired Range Officer

Essential Qualifications

• The applicant must be a retired Technical Officer or Range Officer.
• The applicant must have worked in a forest research organization or forest department under the Central Government, State Government, or autonomous bodies.
• The applicant must possess at least 25 years of experience in silviculture and forest management activities.
• Experience should include natural and artificial regeneration, tending operations, and felling operations.
• The applicant should have knowledge of Sal forests and site conditions in the Shiwalik and Terai regions of Uttarakhand.
• The applicant must be physically fit to work extensively in hilly terrain.

Job Requirements

1. Designing nursery infrastructure to produce 20,000 Sal seedlings annually.
2. Collection of seeds and cuttings of Sal and associated species.
3. Treatment and sowing/planting activities in nurseries at optimum times.
4. Carrying out and supervising field and regeneration-related activities.

Senior Project Fellow (SPF)

Essential Qualification

• First Class M.Sc. in Forestry.
• First Class M.Sc. in Agroforestry.
• First Class M.Sc. in Botany.

Desirable Qualification

• Capability of extensive touring.
• Knowledge of MS Office and computer applications.
• Preference will be given to candidates having experience in relevant fields.

Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

Essential Qualification

• First Class M.Sc. in Botany, Forestry, or Environment Management.
• Minimum two years of research experience.

Desirable Qualification

• Capability for extensive field touring.
• Knowledge of plant identification.
• Efficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
• Preference will be given to candidates having experience in relevant fields.

Junior Project Fellow (JPF)

• Candidates should be capable of extensive touring.
• Knowledge of MS Office and computer applications is desirable.

Project Assistant (Sal Regeneration Project)

• Essential Qualification: B.Sc. in Forestry or Botany.
• Capable of extensive field work.
• Knowledge of MS Office and statistical tools.
• Preference will be given to candidates having experience in relevant fields.

Field Assistant

• Essential Qualification: Intermediate (12th Pass).
• Capable of extensive touring.
• Knowledge of MS Office and computer applications.

Project Assistant (Hydro Project)

• Essential Qualification: B.Sc. in Biology, Botany (Hons.), Forestry, or Agriculture.
• Capable of extensive touring.
• Knowledge of plant identification.
• Efficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
• Preference will be given to candidates having experience in relevant fields.
