General Conditions

The fellowship is governed by the rules of the Indian Council of Forestry Research & Education (ICFRE), Dehradun, and does not guarantee employment in any institute under the Council.
Candidates who have already completed 4 years as RA/SRF/SPF/JRF/JPF are not eligible for the fellowship.
Ph.D. period and teaching experience will not be counted as research experience.
Candidates already employed elsewhere must present an NOC from their previous/current institute.
The Director of Forest Research Institute reserves the right to increase, decrease, or cancel any of the positions mentioned in the notification without prior notice.
