Minimum Educational Qualification & Experience
Candidates must satisfy the mandatory minimum qualifications and professional experience as prescribed in the official advertisement:
1. Medical Officer
- Essential Qualification: MBBS degree from an institution recognized by the relevant medical authority.
- Mandatory Experience: Minimum 03 (three) years of professional experience post-internship.
- Desirable / Preferable Criteria: Additional qualification in Medicine / Surgery is preferable.
2. Dental Hygienist / Assistant / Technician
Applicants must meet either of the following specified tracks of qualifications and work experience:
Track (a) – Armed Forces / Standard Stream:
Diploma Holder in Dental Hygienist / Class-I DH / DORA Course (Armed Forces).
Experience: Minimum 05 (five) years of experience in a Dental Laboratory.
Track (b) – Technician Stream:
Candidate should have passed 10+2 with Science or equivalent from a recognized board or institution, AND
Possess a 02 (two) years Diploma in Dental Hygienist / Dental Mechanic Course registered with Central/State Government or Dental Council of India.
Experience: Minimum 03 (three) years of experience in a Dental Laboratory.

Interview Timing and Instructions:
Candidates must report to ECHS Cell, Station HQ Gangtok at 0830 hrs on 27 October 2026 for the interview scheduled to be conducted from 0900 hrs onwards. Only candidates meeting the qualitative requirements (QR) may apply.

Important Instructions, Asset Declaration & On Job Training (OJT)
1. Handing/Taking Over Period:
A duration of 10 (ten) days of handing/taking over between the key appointments at the polyclinic will be carried out.
2. Submission of Annual Property Return (Declaration of Assets):
The Annual Property Return in respect of Medical Officer regarding immovable and movable property will be deposited along with the application form.
3. Mandatory Unpaid On Job Training (OJT):
The selected individual will have to undergo 10 (ten) days On Job Training (OJT). This duration of OJT will remain unpaid and will be counted as mandatory before assuming charge as a contractual employee.
4. Travel Allowance / Dearness Allowance (TA/DA):
No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.
