ECHS Agra Recruitment 2026 for Officer-in-Charge, Medical Officer, Pharmacist, Driver and Other Posts
Recruiting Organization: Government of India, Ministry of Defence, Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), Station Headquarters (ECHS Cell), Agra.
Station Headquarters (ECHS Cell), Agra under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has invited applications for contractual appointments in ECHS Polyclinics located at Agra, Etah, Firozabad, and Mainpuri. Eligible candidates can apply for multiple healthcare and support staff positions including Officer-in-Charge Polyclinic, Medical Officer, Dental Officer, Lab Technician, Pharmacist, Nursing Assistant, Driver, Chowkidar, Peon, and others.
The appointments will initially be made on a contractual basis for a period of 11 months or one year. The contract may be renewed for an additional period of one year or until the candidate attains the prescribed maximum age, subject to satisfactory performance and other conditions prescribed by the department.

Eligibility Criteria and Educational Qualification
Officer-in-Charge Polyclinic
- Graduate degree.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in healthcare institutions or managerial positions.
Medical Officer
- MBBS degree.
- Minimum 3 years of experience after internship.
- Additional qualification in medicine or surgery will be preferred.
Dental Officer
- BDS degree.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience.
Lab Assistant
- DMLT or Class-I Lab Technician Course (Armed Forces).
- Minimum 5 years of laboratory experience.
Lab Technician
- B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology.
- OR 10+2 with Science from a recognized institution.
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as Lab Assistant in a medical laboratory.
Nursing Assistant
- GNM Diploma or Class-I Nursing Assistant Course (Armed Forces).
- Minimum 5 years of experience.
Pharmacist
- B.Pharmacy from a recognized institute.
- OR 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- Approved Diploma in Pharmacy recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India.
- Registration under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience.
Dental Hygienist
- Diploma in Dental Hygiene or Class-I DH/DORA Course (Armed Forces).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in dental laboratory.
Female Attendant
- Candidate must be literate.
Peon
- Class 8 pass or GD Trade (Armed Forces).

Chowkidar

On-the-Job Training (OJT)
The duration of On-the-Job Training (OJT) will remain unpaid and completion of OJT is mandatory before assuming charge as a contractual employee.
The following categories of candidates are required to undergo ten days of On-the-Job Training:
- Officer-in-Charge Polyclinic.
- Medical Specialist.
- Gynaecologist.
- Radiologist.
- Medical Officer.
- Dental Officer.
Candidates must obtain an OJT completion certificate before signing the contractual agreement.
In the case of Officer-in-Charge Polyclinic, the certificate will be issued by OIC, ECHS Cell, Station Headquarters, Agra.
