Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualifications

• Officer-in-Charge, ECHS Polyclinic: Graduate (Ex-Servicemen, Non-Medical Officer).
• Medical Specialist: MD / MS in the concerned specialty or DNB with a minimum of 3 years experience in the concerned subject after post-graduation.
• Medical Officer: MBBS with a minimum of 3 years work experience after completion of internship. Additional qualification in Medicine or Surgery is preferable.
• Dental Officer: BDS with a minimum of 5 years work experience.
• Clerk (in lieu of Peon): Graduate or Class-1 Clerical Trade qualification from the Armed Forces.

Reservation Details

• Preference will be given to Ex-Servicemen candidates.
• One Medical Officer vacancy is reserved for Ex-Servicemen under RC ECHS Ahmedabad.
• No caste-wise or category-wise reservation details have been mentioned in the notification.

Application Process

1. Applications must be submitted strictly in the prescribed format available on the official ECHS website.
2. The application form must be accompanied by self-attested photocopies of testimonials in support of educational qualifications and work experience.
3. Applications must be submitted in duplicate.
4. Completed applications should be sent to:
   Officer-in-Charge, OIC ECHS Cell,
   Station Headquarters, Camp Hanuman,
   Shahibaug, Ahmedabad – 380003.
5. Applications received after 14 February 2026 will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Selection Process

• Selection will be done purely on the basis of an interview.
• Candidates must report to Station Headquarters, Camp Hanuman, Shahibaug, Ahmedabad at 0900 hours on 20 February 2026 for the interview.
• Candidates are required to bring original certificates, degrees, experience certificates, service records, and testimonials at the time of interview.
• Two passport size colour photographs must be produced at the time of interview.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.
• Only candidates meeting the qualitative requirements should apply.

On-the-Job Training (OJT) Requirement

• OJT is compulsory before signing the contract.
• The duration of OJT will remain unpaid.
• A certificate from the Officer-in-Charge of the Polyclinic must be obtained after completion of OJT.
