Salary Structure and CTC

Emoluments include Basic Pay, DA, HRA, other allowances, encashment of earned leaves, and retirement benefits. Post-Retirement Medical Coverage Scheme is applicable under specific conditions.

Application Process

1. Apply online through the career link on the official EIL website.
2. Prepare scanned copies of required documents: photo, signature, date of birth proof, caste/PwD certificate (if applicable).
3. Upload documents in prescribed formats and sizes (photo ≤75KB, signature ≤25KB, certificates ≤500KB).
4. No hard copy submission is required; retain a printout for reference during interview/skill test.
5. Ensure all uploaded certificates are valid as of the closing date.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the minimum educational qualifications, relevant post-qualification experience, and percentage requirements as on the cut-off date (31.08.2025). Some highlights:

• Engineering degree (B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc Engg.) with minimum 60%–65% marks in relevant discipline.
• Post-graduates and PhD holders in Engineering are eligible for relaxation in experience (1 year and 4 years respectively).
• Junior Secretary: Graduate degree (≥60%), shorthand & typing speed 90/40 wpm, computer diploma (≥3 months), 5 years’ relevant experience.
• Engineer (CS/IT): 1 year’s experience with ASP.Net, Bootstrap, jQuery, JavaScript, AngularJS/React, Oracle/MS SQL, etc.

Age Limit

Note: Age cut-off date is 31.08.2025.

Reservation and Relaxations

Reservation and relaxations will be provided as per Government of India rules. Category-wise relaxation in upper age limits is as follows:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
• PwD (General/EWS): 10 years
• PwD (OBC – NCL): 13 years
• PwD (SC/ST): 15 years
• Ex-Servicemen: As per rules
• Departmental Candidates: Relaxations applicable as per EIL rules

Note: Postgraduates in engineering (relevant to the post) get 1-year relaxation in experience, and Ph.D. holders in relevant engineering receive 4-year relaxation in experience.

Selection Process

The selection process varies by post:

• Engineer, Deputy Manager, Manager, Senior Manager: Interview at New Delhi/Gurugram or through video conferencing.
• Junior Secretary: Skill Test at New Delhi/Gurugram.

Travel Allowance (TA) Reimbursement

• Junior Secretary: II Sleeper rail fare
• Engineer: III AC Sleeper rail fare
• Deputy Manager / Manager / Senior Manager: II AC Sleeper rail fare

Travel allowance is applicable only for outstation candidates called for interview/skill test. Proof of travel and duly filled TA form must be submitted. No reimbursement will be made if eligibility criteria are not met.

General Instructions

• A candidate can apply for only one position in this advertisement. Multiple applications will lead to rejection, except the latest application.
• The cut-off date for qualification, age, and experience is 31.08.2025.
• Valid OBC-NCL certificates must be uploaded by closing date; otherwise, candidature will be rejected.
• CGPA/OGPA/CPI must be converted to percentage as per institutional norms. Documentary proof is required.
