Salary Details (Consolidated Pay)

Employment Type and Tenure

The appointments are purely on a contractual basis with the following tenure:

• Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor – Up to 5 years or until the age of 70 years, whichever is earlier.
• Tutor / Demonstrator – For a period of 1 year only.

Application Process

1. Candidates must appear in person for the walk-in interview with a duly filled application form in prescribed format.
2. Attach a Demand Draft (if applicable) and required documents.
3. Carry two passport-size photographs.
4. Bring self-attested copies of all certificates/testimonials for age, qualification, category, experience, publications, etc.
5. Bring original documents for verification.
6. Mode of Payment: Demand Draft in favor of “ESI Savings Fund A/c No. 2” payable at New Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualifications as per the latest NMC (MCI) guidelines.
• For Associate Professor in Pulmonary Medicine – Minimum experience required for qualifying as DM supervisor under NMC & GGSIPU norms.
• Candidates from recognized private medical institutions meeting eligibility may apply.
• Retired personnel from Central/State Govt/PSUs with equivalent posts are also eligible.

Age Limit

• Professor / Associate / Assistant Professor – Not exceeding 67 years as on the date of interview.
• Tutor / Demonstrator – Not exceeding 45 years as on the date of interview.

Reservation Details

The recruitment covers multiple departments including General Medicine, General Surgery, Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, ENT, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Emergency Medicine, PMR, Anaesthesiology, Radiology, Pathology, Blood Bank, Microbiology, Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, FMT, and Community Medicine. Vacancies are distributed among UR, EWS, OBC, SC, and ST categories as per Government of India norms. The total vacancies are provisional and may change based on actual requirements.

Selection Process

• Selection will be based on candidate performance in the interview before the Selection Board.
• Results will be displayed on the official ESIC website.
• Selected candidates must join immediately after receipt of the appointment offer.

Terms and Conditions

• Posts are purely contractual and may be terminated by either party with one month's notice.
• No right to confirmation or continuation; purely temporary appointment.
• Internal candidates of ESIC Hospital, Basaidarapur need not submit NOC but require HOD recommendation.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• ESIC reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
• Candidates eligible for higher posts may be interviewed for lower posts; temporary upgradation may be granted as per eligibility and board recommendation.
