Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Junior Engineer (Civil): Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.
• Junior Engineer (Electrical): Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.

Experience

Retired Government Engineers having experience in building construction and maintenance works will be given preference.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 64 years as on 14.11.2025 (last date of application submission).
• Maximum Age for Extension: Up to 65 years based on satisfactory performance.

Nature of Engagement

The employment will be purely contractual in nature, initially for one year, extendable on a yearly basis depending on satisfactory performance, up to the maximum age of 65 years.

Remuneration / Salary Details

For retired employees drawing pension from pensionable government employment, the admissible remuneration will be computed after deducting the pension amount from the last drawn salary.

In addition, candidates are entitled to TA/DA for official tours as per the applicable rates for regular Assistant Engineers/Junior Engineers.

Applications must contain the candidate’s mobile number and email ID. After scrutiny, shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview, and intimation will be issued only through email.

Leave Eligibility

Maximum of one day leave for every completed month of service in addition to holidays of ESIC Corporation. No other leave with pay will be admissible.

Important Instructions

1. Candidates should carry original certificates of educational qualifications, experience/testimonials/PPO (as applicable) along with self-attested copies at the time of interview.
2. Candidates should also bring two recent passport-size photographs.
3. Candidates should produce any valid government-issued photo identity proof such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License.
4. The competent authority reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reason.
5. Selected candidates must produce a Medical Fitness Certificate issued by a Government Civil Surgeon before joining the Corporation.
6. Selected candidates will be required to sign an Agreement as per ESIC Headquarters' Letter No. Pt.PS/SE-V/Staff Matter/2013-PMD dated 08.03.2018.
