ECHS Recruitment 2026 – Contractual Medical & Non-Medical Staff
The Government of India, Ministry of Defence, under the Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), Station HQ (ECHS Cell), Lansdowne, has invited applications for engagement of Medical Staff, Para Medical Staff, and Non-Medical Staff on a purely contractual basis.
The recruitment is for ECHS Polyclinics located at Kotdwara, Pauri, and Lansdowne (Uttarakhand). The initial engagement is for a period of one year, which may be renewed annually or continued till the candidate attains the maximum permissible age, subject to satisfactory performance and other conditions as prescribed by ECHS.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill the post-specific educational qualifications and experience requirements as mentioned above. Only candidates meeting the qualitative requirements prescribed by ECHS are eligible to apply.
Age Limit
The engagement is subject to the maximum age limit as per ECHS rules. The contract may be extended annually or continued till the candidate attains the maximum permissible age, subject to performance and other conditions.
Reservation Details
Reservation is provided specifically for Ex-Servicemen (ESM). Reservation percentage varies between 60% to 70% depending on the post. Preference will be given to Ex-Servicemen candidates.
