Employment Type and Salary
All appointments are purely on a contractual basis for a period of one year for Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and eleven months for Civil candidates. The remuneration ranges between ₹21,800 and ₹95,000 per month depending on the position.

Application Process
Application format is available at www.echs.gov.in. Candidates must submit the application in hard copy (triplicate) along with self-attested photocopies of educational qualifications, experience certificates, and other relevant documents.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must possess the educational qualifications as specified for each post.
- Only candidates fulfilling the qualitative requirements will be considered.
- For Medical and Para-Medical staff, valid registration with the Himachal Pradesh State Medical/Para Medical Council is mandatory.

Reservation Details
- Ex-Servicemen (ESM) Reservation: 60% to 70% (depending on the post)
- Civil Candidate Reservation: 30% to 40% (depending on the post)

Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted based on eligibility and qualifications. The shortlisted candidates will be informed via email or telephone and must attend the interview as per schedule.
During the interview, candidates are required to bring:
- Original certificates and mark sheets
- Degree/Diploma documents
- Discharge Book, PPO, Service Records
- Two recent passport-size color photographs
No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
On-Job Training (OJT)
Selected candidates must undergo a minimum of 10 days of Handing/Taking Over On-Job Training (OJT) at the respective ECHS Polyclinic for smooth functioning before signing the contract. The OJT period will be unpaid and counted as part of contractual employment.
Additional Important Information
- Civil candidates will be considered only if no eligible ESM, Veer Nari, or Widow applies or qualifies based on merit.
- The final decision regarding selection rests solely with the Appointing Authority.
- No representations or appeals will be entertained after the selection process is completed.
