Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have completed graduation in any discipline from a University/Institution recognized by AICTE/UGC.
• Other conditions will apply as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 (and amendments).

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 28 years

Reservation

Reservation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD as per Government of India guidelines. Additionally, 5% of the seats are reserved for fresher apprentices and skill certificate holders as per Apprenticeship Rules.

Application Process

1. Visit the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal: https://nats.education.gov.in
2. Register and complete student profile including educational qualification, category, personal details, age, percentage, and CGPA.
3. Search for “ECGC Ltd” under advertised vacancies.
4. Submit application online.

Selection Process

The selection committee will shortlist candidates based on application data, qualifications, marks obtained, and location. Final selection will be subject to verification of documents and eligibility.

Travel, Boarding & Lodging

• No TA/DA will be provided for certificate verification or thereafter.
• Boarding and lodging expenses are not admissible.

Medical Examination

Selected apprentices must produce a medical fitness certificate from a Government Civil Surgeon or District Medical Officer of equivalent status from a Government Hospital.

Important Dates

General Information

• Incomplete or erroneous applications, or those submitted after due date, will be rejected.
• Completion of apprenticeship does not guarantee employment in ECGC Ltd.
• Apprentices are trainees, not regular employees. The contract ends after one year.
• Apprentices must follow company rules, safety, and discipline.
• They must diligently attend training and perform assigned duties.
• If terminated due to apprentice’s failure, training costs may need to be refunded.
• Contract may be terminated if apprentice secures other employment or for medical reasons.
• Stipend depends on satisfactory performance.
• Work hours will follow company schedule.
• Leaves governed by company and Apprenticeship Act rules.
• ECGC has not authorized any third party to coordinate. Beware of touts.
• Canvassing will disqualify candidature.
