Eligibility Criteria

• General Duty Medical Practitioners: MBBS with 2 years’ experience in Critical Care/Trauma/Emergency; must be registered with MCI/State Council.
• Specialist Doctors: Degree/Diploma in relevant specialty; must be registered with MCI/State Council.
• Retired Doctors: Retired IRMS/State/Central Govt. doctors; maximum age 67; remuneration + pension not to exceed last pay drawn.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 60 years as on 24.09.2025
• SC/ST: Relaxable by 5 years
• OBC: Relaxable by 3 years
• Retired Doctors: Maximum age 67 years

Other Important Information

• Absence from duty will lead to proportionate deduction in remuneration.
• CMPs may be transferred anywhere in East Central Railway as per administrative requirement.
• One set of 1st class complementary pass for self & family after 3 months of service per contract year.
• Free medical treatment for CMP (self only) in ECR hospitals.
• No TA/DA will be provided for attending interview.
• CMPs cannot claim regularization or absorption.
• Private practice strictly prohibited during contract.
• Posts may be left unfilled at Railway administration’s discretion.
• Offer of engagement must be accepted within 15 days from issue date, otherwise cancelled.
• Contract can be terminated at any time with 15 days notice.
