Eligibility Criteria

Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel

• Practice in Criminal Law for at least 10 years.
• Must have handled at least 30 criminal trials in Sessions Court.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Leadership qualities and ethical commitment.
• Knowledge of computer systems desirable.

Deputy Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel

• Practice in Criminal Law for at least 7 years.
• Must have handled at least 20 criminal trials in Sessions Court.
• Strong understanding of criminal law and defense ethics.
• Ability to guide juniors, good communication, and IT knowledge.

Assistant Legal Aid Defense Counsel

• Practice in Criminal Law for 1 to 3 years.
• Good communication, research, drafting skills, and IT knowledge.

Office Assistant / Clerk

• Graduation in any discipline.
• Basic computer knowledge and typing speed of 40 w.p.m.
• File maintenance and office support skills.

• Self-attested photocopies of educational qualifications
• Experience certificates
