Eligibility Criteria
- B.E./B.Tech students: Must be in 7th or 8th semester.
- M.Tech/M.Sc/M.V.Sc students: Must be in 1st or 2nd year.
- Academic performance: More than 80% marks or CGPA ≥ 8.0/10 throughout all semesters.
- Institute/University must be approved by AICTE/UGC.
Age Limit
Candidates should be below 28 years.
Employment Type
This is a paid internship for 6 months. Extension is possible for 8–10 months without stipend.
Stipend Payment Terms
- Stipend applicable only if the student is present at the lab for a minimum of 15 working days per month.
- Payment made in two installments: first after 3 months, second after 6 months.
- Extended internship beyond 6 months is without stipend.
- Stipend will be transferred directly to the student's bank account.

Application Process
- Applications must be sent through email only to
hr-dihar@gov.in. No hard copies will be accepted. - Subject line should read: “Application for paid internship with branch/discipline”.
- Documents required:
- Filled application form (prescribed format)
- Marksheet of last semester/year
- Aadhaar card copy
- Reference/Request letter from college
- Brief Bio-data (≤300 words)
Selection Process
- Selection will be based on academic performance and online interview/interaction (if required).
- Merit-based selection only.
- Only selected candidates will be notified via email.
- Incomplete, erroneous, or late applications will be rejected.
Boarding & Lodging
No boarding or lodging expenses are admissible.
Certificate
- Certificate of completion awarded only after successful completion of internship with evaluation and project submission.
- If internship is left incomplete, no certificate and no stipend will be provided.
Other Terms & Conditions
- Interns must strictly adhere to laboratory guidelines.
- Internship may be terminated in case of disciplinary activities.
- DIHAR/DRDO has no obligation to provide employment after the internship.
- Vacancies and criteria may change at the discretion of management.
