Digital India Corporation Recruitment 2025 – Helpdesk / Call Center Manager
The National e-Governance Division (NeGD), under Digital India Corporation (Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology), has released an official notification inviting applications for the post of Helpdesk / Call Center Manager. The recruitment will be conducted on a contractual basis for a project under the Digital India Programme.
The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) functions as an independent business division of Digital India Corporation and plays a significant role in supporting the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) in implementing and managing e-Governance initiatives across various central ministries and state departments. The organization contributes to digital transformation through initiatives aimed at building digital infrastructure, delivering governance services on demand, and empowering citizens digitally.
NeGD has spearheaded several important digital initiatives under the Digital India Programme including DigiLocker, UMANG, Poshan Tracker, OpenForge Platform, API Setu, National Academic Depository, Academic Bank of Credits, and Learning Management System. These initiatives aim to provide digital infrastructure and services to citizens while strengthening governance mechanisms through technology.

The place of posting will be New Delhi. However, the selected candidate may be transferred to project locations of NeGD as per the existing policy of NeGD / Digital India Corporation.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have completed Graduation.
- Preferred qualifications include B.Tech, B.Sc (IT), MCA, or MBA.
Experience Requirement
- Minimum 5 years of experience after graduation in managing Helpdesk or Call Center operations.
- Managerial or supervisory experience is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Capability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and teams.
- Ability to manage multi-location helpdesk or call center operations.
- Understanding of call center infrastructure including hardware setup, installation, and manpower planning.
- Knowledge of administrative structure and functioning of government organizations.
- Understanding of public service delivery platforms and government project environments.
- Proven stakeholder management capabilities at senior and executive levels.
- Financial management skills including budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
Age Limit
Maximum Age Limit: 55 Years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
Selection Process
- Screening of applications based on qualification, age, and relevant experience.
- Shortlisting of eligible candidates.
- Interview of shortlisted candidates.
NeGD reserves the right to set higher qualification and experience thresholds during the screening process to limit the number of candidates invited for the interview.

- Candidates currently employed in Central Government, State Government, Public Sector Undertakings, or Autonomous Bodies must apply through the proper channel or attach a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer.
- NeGD reserves the right to fill all, some, or none of the advertised positions without assigning any reason.
- The positions are temporary and project-based under NeGD / Digital India Corporation.
- Selected candidates will not have any claim for permanent employment in NeGD or Digital India Corporation.
- NeGD reserves the right to terminate the appointment with one month notice or payment of one month salary in lieu of notice.
- The designation of selected candidates will be mapped according to the existing designation policy of NeGD.
