Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualifications
- (a) Intermediate Qualification: The candidate must have passed the Intermediate examination with Science subjects from the Uttarakhand Board of School Education or Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate Education, or possess any equivalent qualification recognized by the Government. Special Provision: Prior to the implementation of the Pharmacy Council of India's Education Regulations 1991 for Diploma Course in Pharmacy (as amended by Education Amendment Regulations, 1994) in the State of Uttarakhand, candidates holding High School qualifications are also eligible.
- (b) Technical / Professional Qualification: The candidate must hold a Diploma in Pharmacy (Allopathy) from an institution recognized by the Government / competent authority.
2. Other Mandatory Eligibility Conditions
- (a) Pharmacy Council Registration: The candidate must mandatorily be registered with the Registrar, Uttarakhand Pharmacy Council at the time of submitting the application.
- (b) Employment Exchange Registration: The candidate must mandatorily be registered in any Employment Exchange located within the State of Uttarakhand at the time of submitting the application.
Age Limit & Relaxations
- Cutoff Date for Age: As on July 01, 2026.
- Minimum Age Limit: 18 years.
- Maximum Age Limit: 42 years.
- Age Relaxation: Relaxation in the upper age limit will be admissible to candidates belonging to reserved categories of Uttarakhand State in accordance with existing government rules.

Payment Mode & Instructions:
- The application fee must be deposited online via IFMS PORTAL (e-Challan).
- Departmental Revenue Head of Account: 0403-00-800-99-00.
- A certified/attested copy of the generated e-challan must be mandatorily enclosed along with the hard-copy application form.
Application Submission Process
- Download or obtain the application form in the prescribed format.
- Fill out all relevant educational, professional, and personal details accurately in the application form.
- Deposit the applicable application fee through the IFMS Portal (e-Challan) under revenue account code
0403-00-800-99-00and obtain the challan copy. - Attach self-attested/certified copies of all essential educational certificates, Pharmacy (Allopathy) diploma mark sheets/certificates, valid registration certificate with Uttarakhand Pharmacy Council, valid registration certificate of Employment Exchange located in Uttarakhand, category certificates, and the verified e-challan receipt.
- Place the complete application form along with all enclosures in an envelope.
- Mandatorily superscribe the top portion of the application envelope with:

Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be executed strictly in accordance with the provisions of:
- Uttarakhand Veterinary Pharmacist Service Rules, 2010 (उत्तराखण्ड पशुचिकित्सा फार्मेसिस्ट सेवानियमावली, 2010)
- Uttarakhand Veterinary Pharmacist Service (Amendment) Rules, 2011 (उत्तराखण्ड पशुचिकित्सा फार्मेसिस्ट सेवा (संशोधन) नियमावली, 2011)
Merit List & Batch-wise / Year-wise Selection Method:
- The Selection Committee will prepare a merit list of candidates arranged according to their year of passing the Diploma examination, based on the merit reflected by the marks obtained by them in the Diploma examination.
- The selection process will commence from the merit list of a subsequent year only after the merit/proficiency list of the preceding year is completely exhausted.
- This procedure will continue uninterruptedly until all notified vacancies are filled.
