- PAT-I: Written Exam (OMR) + Interview (1:5 ratio)
- PAT-II / Senior PAT / PS-I / PS-II: Direct Interview
- Final merit based on interview performance (except PAT-I written qualification stage)

- Total Marks: 100
- Duration: 60 Minutes
- No Negative Marking
- Medium: English & Hindi
Eligibility Criteria (Summary)
- Master’s / B.Tech / PhD depending on post
- Fields: Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Toxicology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Veterinary Science, Nanotechnology, Engineering, etc.
- Experience required for higher posts (2–5 years depending on level)
